If you haven’t noticed, I love a good giveaway! It just makes me feel good to give someone the joy of family images to cherish forever! So, I am participating is a wonderful giveaway through “It’s a Preemie Thing”, a wonderful blog/site dedicated to parents of preemies and their little ones.
I was fortunate enough that both my boys stayed nice and cozy for the full 9 months that I was pregnant with them. So cozy in fact, that both had to be given eviction notices in the form of c-sections. Others however, have not had the same experience and I have had the privilege of working with several families of preemies, some of which are dear friends. Although I cannot speak from my own experience, my heart goes out to those that have had little ones in the hospital NICU for days or even months. I cannot imagine the worry, stress, and overall exhaustion that comes from having a baby in the hospital for any amount of time. All preemie moms are all super moms in my opinion and their strength is inspiring!
If you are the parent of a preemie or know someone with a preemie, even one that has now grown into a toddler, please spread the word about the giveaway. Photographers all across the country are donating sessions to preemie families and I would love for someone to hear about it through my blog or Facebook page. You don’t have to be local to Oregon or the Bay Area to enter the contest, so tell your friends around the nation!
