That was the song running through my head while editing this awesome session. I met Lauren, the gorgeous lady in purple, in kindergarten. We have been good friends ever since and when she called me to see if I would do a photo shoot of her entire family, I was thrilled! She has one of those amazing families where the energy is contagious when you spend time with them. I absolutely love both sides of her family and although I am just getting to know them, I adore her husband’s family as well. I could hear the laughter from our session when I was working on these photos! It was a blast getting work with them and it could not have been a more perfect day. I absolutely LOVE working with children, but must admit it was fun to have all adults to work with who would do what I asked of them so I could try out some new poses and lighting. They were great sports and indulged all my silly requests! I am just sad that I didn’t get to hang out with them after wards, since they were all getting together for a huge family meal…and knowing what kind of cooks they all are, I KNOW it was fabulous!

Thank you Lauren and King, for letting me spend the day with you and capture this special time in your life! I love you both very much and wish you all the happiness you deserve! Lauren, you are and always will be a very close friend. You are simply beautiful inside and out and I can’t wait to hopefully take pictures of your growing family when the time comes!
