1500 fan contest!! – Submissions

Thank you to all my amazing clients and fans for spreading the word about BSP Studios! I am so honored to have 1500 fans following my page! As a special thank you, I am putting together a contest for my fans to give you the chance to win a FREE session with BSP Studios! Good luck!

Summer feels like it is here in the Pacific Northwest, but fall is quickly headed our way. Kids are back in school and pumpkin spice lattes are everywhere. Gone are the white pants and shoes and soon we will be taking photos in the leaves and getting holiday cards ready to mail.

Are you missing summer already? Did you have the time of your life? Well we want to see it!

So Long Summer! – Photo Contest

It is simple to enter!

-Email me one personal summertime photo of your child or family (no professional pictures are allowed). bspstudiosllc@gmail.com

-Pictures will be accepted starting Friday, September 9th until 11:59pm on Tuesday September 13th. Voting will begin Wednesday morning!

The rules are easy:

-Pictures will be accepted starting Sept 9th until 11:59pm on Tuesday Sept 13th. No late entries will be allowed.

-Voting will begin Wednesday morning, Sept 14th. You will find your photo on my blog. I will post on Wednesday morning with all the images that were submitted.

-Once the post is up people can begin voting for their favorite photo. In order to vote, people must leave a comment on the blog with the number photo they like. Get your friends and family to vote for your photo.

-Announce the contest on your Facebook page and/or Tweet about it and tell your friends to vote for your photo.

-Only ONE vote (comment) per person is allowed.

-The photo with the most votes at 11:59pm on Monday, Sept 19th will win! The winner will be announced Tuesday morning Sept 20th

-The session includes up to 5 people. $20 for each additional family member.

-Session must be booked between Jan 1st and May 31st, 2012. Please do not wait until the last minute to book. Weekend sessions fill 2-3 months in advance.

-Session must be held in Portland, Oregon, The San Francisco Bay Area, or Seattle, Washington. Otherwise client will be responsible for travel fees.

-Any attempt to manipulate or inappropriate commentary of another contestant’s photo will result in automatic disqualification! Please be nice .

The winner will receive a FREE single session with BSP Studios, LLC!!!

A Second Chance to WIN!

One lucky comment will be chosen randomly to win a $25 Dutch Bros coffee card! In order to enter to win this random drawing, you must “like” our Facebook page

Once you have liked our fan page, leave your vote for the best photo and let me know you have liked our fan page. I will randomly generate the winning comment on September 20th and announce it with the photo winner! Anyone can win .

Zenana Stairwell Gallery – Go check it out!

Zenana Spa and Wellness Center in SE Portland is one of my favorite places…especially when I am pregnant (which I am currently not…just to be clear ). For the past 4 years I have been going to Zenana for prenatal, baby and me, or general women’s yoga with Camille of Motherwise Yoga. I have also done regular prenatal and deep tissue massages with Grace (she’s my fav, but to be fair she is the only one I have tried…I am sure they are all spectacular), and overall general pampering. I love it so much I even dragged Bob there to get a massage. Don’t tell him I told you, but he totally LOVED it! It is a quiet retreat amidst the chaos of life with 2 kids and a full time photography business. It is also a fantastic place to find resources for maternity, postnatal, and general women’s health. I highly recommend Zenana to all my friends and clients and hope you will find the same relaxation and rejuvenation I have found there. Oh…and for those of you that are looking for child care while you get your spa treatments…Zenana has a child care center on site! Call for more details.

I was honored when Zenana asked me to display some of my work. From now until April 1st, Zenana Spa will be displaying my work in their stairwell gallery. If you are in the area, please take a moment to stop in and peek.

It’s a Preemie Thing…Giveaway!

If you haven’t noticed, I love a good giveaway! It just makes me feel good to give someone the joy of family images to cherish forever! So, I am participating is a wonderful giveaway through “It’s a Preemie Thing”, a wonderful blog/site dedicated to parents of preemies and their little ones.

I was fortunate enough that both my boys stayed nice and cozy for the full 9 months that I was pregnant with them. So cozy in fact, that both had to be given eviction notices in the form of c-sections. Others however, have not had the same experience and I have had the privilege of working with several families of preemies, some of which are dear friends. Although I cannot speak from my own experience, my heart goes out to those that have had little ones in the hospital NICU for days or even months. I cannot imagine the worry, stress, and overall exhaustion that comes from having a baby in the hospital for any amount of time. All preemie moms are all super moms in my opinion and their strength is inspiring!

If you are the parent of a preemie or know someone with a preemie, even one that has now grown into a toddler, please spread the word about the giveaway. Photographers all across the country are donating sessions to preemie families and I would love for someone to hear about it through my blog or Facebook page. You don’t have to be local to Oregon or the Bay Area to enter the contest, so tell your friends around the nation! Those of you in Portland or the Bay Area that want to enter, please let them know you want your session with BSP Studios and leave some love on my Facebook page. Good luck!
